Saturday, August 20th is our test run, from 12/noon – 12:45 pm (central time). The topic will be The Purpose of Multi-Sensory Environment Rooms and the Use of Colors.

CLICK HERE for the link, and be ready to join us! (registration is needed for this free presentation.) If you are in the geographical area of South Bend, Ind., you are also welcome to join us onsite at A Rosie Place, 53131 Quince Road, and participate in the broadcast that begins at noon.

A complete schedule will be posted next week, for September through December, complete with the links and topic titles.

Gentle Teaching-inspired approaches and diverse applications for therapeutic, recreational and educational goals for multi-sensory environments, will be discussed and shared in a once-a-month series of webinars. There are many basic activities that can be learned by non-licensed facilitators/caregivers, intended to enrich the quality of relationship-building. Each session will be 45 minutes.

The educational series is being hosted by GLOBE STAR LLC and produced in collaboration with TFH, USA, the International Snoezelen Association and The Quality of Life Institute, Inc.

I am interested in receiving your newsletter, particularly with regard to workshops and webinars. I am a speech pathologist in Connecticut. I spent a week in the Netherlands this summer learning about Snoezelen and visiting sites, including the Centre de Hartenberg. I hope to create a Snoezelen room in my school in the future.

    Thank you for your response,
    Kerry Rice
